Privacy

Lumi keeps the minimum to make your reviews work. Nothing is sold, nothing is used for advertising.

Who is responsible

Éditeur à renseigner is responsible for your data. For any question or request, write to contact@lumi-domaine-a-choisir.example. We answer within 30 days at most.

What goes to an AI

When you give Lumi a sheet, as a photo, a PDF or a text, nothing leaves without your agreement. If you accept, the sheet is sent to our server, which passes it to Gemini, Google’s AI, to draw topics and questions from it. The content is used only for that reading. It is not used to train a model, and we do not keep it once the reading is done.

If you refuse, nothing is sent. You can then write your topics yourself.

What we keep

Your courses, your topics, your answers, your reviews and your first name are kept on your phone. If you delete the app, they go with it.

On our server, we keep only what is needed to count your sheet readings. Right after the welcome, the app opens an anonymous account, with no name, no email and no password. For each reading, the server notes the date and the type, photo, PDF or text, to respect the quota of your plan. It does not note what your sheet contained.

If you allow notifications, the app also sends a notification token so that our server can reach you.

Where and for how long

Our server is hosted by Supabase, in the European Union.

Your anonymous account, your reading counter and your notification token stay there as long as your account exists, or until you delete your data. The content of your sheets does not stay there.

Who sees what

Nobody but you sees your courses. Lumi shows them to no other user, there is no leaderboard and no group.

Why we use them

To make the app work, read your sheets when you ask, count your readings and send the reminder you chose. The legal basis is the contract, meaning the terms of use you accept.

Sending a sheet to the AI relies on your agreement, asked each time. For usage statistics, the legal basis is also your agreement. You switch them off right here, without losing any feature.

Minimum age

Lumi is for people aged 18 and over. The app checks it with your month and year of birth, on your phone. Below that age, you cannot use it.

Our providers

Supabase hosts our server and its data. Google, through Gemini, reads the sheets you choose to send. The subscription is managed by the App Store and by RevenueCat, our subscription provider, which receives the identifier of your anonymous account and your purchase history, never your bank card. Anonymous usage statistics leave only if you switch them on, to PostHog. Each one processes data for us only, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Your rights

You can view, correct, receive a copy of, limit or erase your data at any time. The copy and the deletion happen directly in Settings.

Deletion erases your account on our server and everything tied to it right away, then everything this phone keeps.

If an answer does not suit you, you can contact your data protection authority, in France the CNIL at cnil.fr.

These texts are the same as in the app.
