Sociology
In sociology you memorise thinkers, their concepts, their books and precise definitions. Lumi asks them back, while analysing a social phenomenon stays your job.

How to turn this subject into cards
Make one note per thinker and one per concept, with the exact definition, the book, the date and a concrete example. Lumi quizzes names, concepts such as habitus, anomie or socialisation, dates of books and the differences between neighbouring ideas. The typical trap is mixing up two thinkers or two close concepts. Write down side by side what sets them apart and have it asked again. Lumi fixes the vocabulary and the references they need. Testing yourself without notes helps more than rereading (Karpicke et al., 2009).
