SQE
The SQE is the national exam that lets you become a solicitor in England and Wales. Lumi helps you keep rules of law, not practice the practical questions.

In short
The SQE, Solicitors Qualifying Examination, is the common exam for becoming a solicitor in England and Wales. It has two main stages. The first covers legal knowledge, the second practical skills. It covers both core subjects and areas of practice, like business law or dispute resolution. The format and calendar are set by the regulator, so check there.
What goes on your cards
The knowledge part asks you to retain a mass of rules with their elements and exceptions. One card per rule, with a short example. Lumi can do that.
A study rhythm
Preparing for the SQE often takes several months. Alternate question sets with a pass over your cards on different days, and revisit a rule until you get it right several times (Rawson and Dunlosky, 2011). Do not leave the practical skills for the end.
