United Kingdom
GCSE
GCSEs are the exams that students in the UK sit at around 16, at the end of Year 11. Lumi helps you keep the content of each subject before the summer papers.

In short
GCSEs are school qualifications prepared over two years, in Year 10 and Year 11, in around ten subjects. Maths and English are core. Others, like the sciences, history, geography or a modern language, vary by school. Written papers take place at the end of the school year. The results count for entry to sixth form, college or an apprenticeship. Rules differ a little between England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
What goes on your cards
GCSEs lean heavily on memory. Put maths formulas, science definitions, dates and causes in history, quotations from your English texts and your language vocabulary on cards. One card per point of the official specification for your subject. Lumi keeps in mind what needs to be known by heart.
A study rhythm
The papers come at the end of the school year, so start your card passes at the beginning of Year 11 and see each chapter several times, on different days (Rawson and Dunlosky, 2011). Keep the last weeks for past papers, subject by subject.
