United States
SAT
The SAT is the standardized test many students take to apply to a US college. Lumi helps with grammar rules and formulas, not with the pace of the test.

In short
The SAT is run by the College Board. It assesses reading and writing on one side and math on the other, from short passages and problems. It is now taken on a computer in an adaptive digital format. Students from any country can take it at an approved test center. Several colleges make it optional, so check what each school asks before you register. For the current format, read the College Board site.
What goes on your cards
The SAT mostly measures reasoning and speed, which are built with timed practice tests. Lumi helps with what can be memorized, punctuation and agreement rules, algebra and geometry formulas, reading vocabulary and classic question traps. Put each error from your practice tests on a card, with the rule that fixes it.
A study rhythm
Pick a test date, then plan backward from it. Take a full practice test every two weeks and do short card passes between them. Spreading the work rather than packing it together helps memory (Cepeda et al., 2006).
